On this day, entry to all branches of the Šiauliai "Aušros" Museum is free of charge. Here's what awaits you:


CHAIMAS FRENKELIS VILLA-MUSEUM (Vilniaus St. 74, Šiauliai)

  • Exhibition: "ŠAM – 101: Tracing the First Collections. The Cultural Heritage of Manors"
    Explore a unique collection of manor heritage treasures from the "Aušros" Museum, including keys from the Beržėnai Manor, exquisite 18th–19th century porcelain, paintings, sculptures, and furniture. Some of these artifacts will be on display for the first time. A stylized manor interior reconstruction offers a glimpse into the 19th–early 20th-century life of Northern Lithuanian nobility.

PHOTOGRAPHY MUSEUM (Vilniaus St. 140, Šiauliai)

    Discover over 150,000 historical and artistic photographs, negatives, and related artifacts, with engaging reconstructions, virtual solutions, and interactive elements.
  • Special Exhibition:

  • Special Exhibition: "Portrait of an Interwar Woman"
    Dedicated to Stanislava Venclauskienė's 150th anniversary, this exhibition celebrates the life and legacy of a remarkable figure in Lithuanian history.

ŠIAULIAI HISTORY MUSEUM (Aušros Ave. 47, Šiauliai)

BICYCLE MUSEUM (Vilniaus St. 139, Šiauliai)

    • Explore the Žaliūkių Windmill, a towering structure built in the late 19th century.
    • Visit the reconstructed granary with open-storage exhibits, featuring agricultural tools, crafts, and household items from bygone eras.
