December 15 in the museum spaces is a unique opportunity to spend time together and create not only memories, but also handmade miracles. Family Day is a day when various educations open the way to creativity, discoveries and feeling the spirit of the holidays.
Each activity is unique and suitable for both children and adults. Participants will not only be happy with the results of their work, but will also take home a piece of the celebration that will remind them of the warm time together.

December 15 at 2 p.m. In Chaim Frenkel's Villa-Museum, the education "Toy for the Christmas tree" will take place.

In the "Christmas tree toy" education, you will work with real tanner's tools, wield hammers and punches, forge ornaments, and glue colorful details. At the end of the education, we will be happy with the results of our work, which will decorate Christmas trees at home during the holiday season.
December 15 at 1 p.m. "Photographer's Assistant" education will be held at the Museum of Photography.

A photographer is the owner of a photo studio who studies and expertly controls light, creates a delicate relationship with the photographed model, and breathes life into static objects.
Become a photographer's assistant and learn about different lighting techniques, the effects they create and put them into practice while working in the studio!
We hope for a cheerful festive period in a cozy photo session, the participants of which can be not only you, but also your favorite Christmas attributes.
After the session, professionally retouched photos will be transferred to you in digital format within a few days.

The pride of the "Aušra" museum is presented - Ethnographic archive - 2006. included in the Lithuanian national register of the UNESCO program "Memory of the World", it tells about the personalities who created and nurtured the "Aušras" museum. The exhibition exhibits material from the collections of the Šiauliai "Aušros" museum. And most of the museum values accumulated in the interwar period can be seen in the exposition of the open storages of the Šiauliai History Museum.
