"Stanislava. Secret mother of 100 children" Book presentation

in 2024 commemorating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Stanislava Venclauskienė, a Lithuanian luminary, public figure, actress and director, politician and children's guardian. The exhibition "Portrait of an Interwar Woman" is dedicated to commemorate this occasion, which will be open until 2024. November 17 exhibited in the Venclauskių House-Museum. Another event dedicated to the memory of this honorable woman is the publication of a book about Stanislava's life. The preparation and publication of the book was organized by the joint efforts of the Šiauliai "Aušras" museum and the "Artuma" publishing house. This book is an illustrated story about Stanislava, her life and activities. It tried to take a closer look at Stanislava's everyday life, recreate the situations that happened in her life, show her environment, and shed light on the people around her. The situations presented in the book are modeled on the basis of various memories and events in Stanislava's life. The book is a free interpretation of the facts of Stanislava's life, trying to bring it closer to the modern reader, allowing to better know and understand this extraordinary woman. The book is aimed at a reader aged 7-12, but with its playful and engaging content and presentation, it will be interesting for the whole family and representatives of different generations.
