"Aušros" Museum at Šiauliai Book Fair 2024

in 2024 November 16 from 10:00 a.m. The Šiauliai Book Fair will be held in the Šiauliai County Povilas Višinskis Public Library, in which the Šiauliai "Aušros" Museum will also participate.

Šiauliai "Aušros" museum annually presents new publications relevant not only to the museum community, but also to those interested in photography, history, art and other topics.

Residents of Šiauliai and guests of the city will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the museum's publications at the Šiauliai Book Fair organized for the ninth time. At the museum stand in the hall dedicated to publishers, you will find the latest publications, previously published books, and you can buy souvenirs.

This year, the attention will be paid to the newly published book "Stanislava. The secret mother of 100 children". This book is dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the birth of S. Venclauskienė (1874–1958). The authors of the book are Danguolė Gervytė, Jūratė Tamošiūnaitė-Karašauskienė.
